The rack's free when you need it
Racks, free weights, and specialty kit you won’t find elsewhere in Kent — the space and equipment serious training needs, with world-champion coaching when you want a programme and someone in your corner.
Specialty kit chosen because it’s useful in a real session — not to fill a brochure.

Racks, free weights, machines and specialty equipment chosen because it's useful in a real session — not to fill a brochure. Train independently on your own schedule with everything you need on the floor.

Personal training
Serious about training. Relaxed about everything else. A welcoming gym — whether you're brand new, back after a break, or training for sport.
Book a viewingThe questions people ask before they walk through the door — answered straight.
Will I be judged?
No. Serious about training, relaxed about everything else. People train here for their own reasons — competition prep, getting stronger, coming back after time away. Nobody’s performing for an audience.
I’ve only used machines — is that OK?
Yes. Plenty of members started exactly there. Book a viewing and we’ll walk you through the kit. A coached intro session is there if you want hands-on help with the basics.
I’m not a powerlifter. Is this gym for me?
You don’t need to compete. The gym is built for proper strength training at any level. World-champion coaches on the floor is proof of standards — not a requirement that you lift competition weight.
Do I need a coach to train here?
No. Gym access starts from a £10 day pass, £20 week pass, or £40/month membership — train on your own schedule. Coaching and PT are there when you want programming, technique work, or someone in your corner. Not required.
What does coaching cost?
Online coaching runs monthly from £100/month. In-person coached sessions at the gym are bought in blocks (£60 single, £220 for four, £400 for eight). Gym access is separate. We’ll talk through what fits at a viewing.
Can I train around an injury or time away?
Yes. Jason and Helen programme around what you’re actually dealing with — not a template that pretends old injuries don’t exist. Say what you’re working with when you book a viewing.
What makes this different from a chain gym?
Kit you won’t find elsewhere in Kent, space to run a real session, and two world-champion coaches on the floor — not a brochure list and a busy rack queue. You’re paying for a strength gym, not a franchise.
Who actually coaches here?
Jason Swalwell and Helen Redhead — both world champion powerlifters, full-time on site. You’re not passed to a junior trainer or an app-only programme written by someone you never meet.
What happens at a viewing?
You walk the floor, see the kit, ask anything. Try equipment if you want. We talk through membership, coaching options, and what you’re trying to achieve. No hard sell.
Is there pressure to sign up on the day?
No. A viewing is a viewing. Most people want to see the gym before they commit anywhere — we’d rather you decide with your eyes open than over email.
Seen enough to want the floor, not just the website?
