Gym membership is taken out in person at Sportive Tricks.

The short version

  • There is no joining fee.
  • 12-month membership is £40 per month with a 12-month minimum (£480 total). After 12 months it continues as the £50 rolling plan unless you give notice.
  • Rolling monthly membership is £50 per month with no minimum term.
  • Give 30 days’ notice to cancel. You can do that in person, by email, or through the club. You do not have to post a letter.
  • Memberships are billed monthly in advance by the card we hold on file. The first month may be a pro-rata amount if you join mid-cycle.
  • You join at the gym. A day or week pass is not a gym membership.

Membership terms

  1. These terms cover gym membership at Sportive Tricks, 3 Drayton Road, Tonbridge, Kent TN9 2BE. One membership covers Sportive Tricks and Iron Raven in the same building.
  2. The 12-month plan is a 12-month contract. You pay £40 per month (£480 over the 12 months). When that term ends, membership continues on the rolling monthly plan at £50 per month unless you have already given notice.
  3. The rolling monthly plan has no minimum term. You pay £50 per month until notice takes effect.
  4. There is no joining fee on either plan.
  5. Give 30 days’ notice to cancel. On the 12-month plan, that notice runs from the end of the minimum term unless the agreement you sign says otherwise. Notice can be given in person at the club, by email, or through the club’s cancellation process.
  6. If you need to leave during the 12-month term, the agreement you sign sets out what happens. Serious illness or injury, redundancy or financial hardship, and relocation that makes attendance impractical can end membership without that extra charge if you give us reasonable evidence.
  7. There is no 14-day cooling-off right for a membership signed on our premises. If you finish signing at home after we started the sale here, tell us — a 14-day right may then apply.
  8. We will not increase your price without at least 30 days’ notice. If you do not accept the new price you may cancel by giving notice; you will not owe the new price.
  9. You can ask to freeze membership for a serious medical or personal reason. We may ask for reasonable evidence. A freeze does not end the agreement or restart a 12-month term.
  10. Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. A joint member, if any, is covered only while the paying membership is active.
  11. Club rules, opening hours, and conduct standards apply. We may suspend or end membership for serious misconduct.
  12. Day passes and week passes are not memberships.
  13. We handle personal data in line with our privacy policy. We keep a copy of the signed membership agreement.
  14. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
